Change Notification
Our system has been updated to reflect new guidance surrounding changes to a student’s Master Agreement. The updated functionality allows parents and/or students to be notified when applicable Master Agreement details change, without automatically requiring a new signature. Notifications will be fully automatic, triggered by data changes. Schools should continue to follow their applicable requirements when determining whether an addendum is needed.
Always check with your Auditor before proceeding, on their requirements for the following changes:
- Class added
- Class dropped/removed
- Teacher change
- Grade Level change
***The trigger email does not consist of any SPED or support staff changes.
Set Up
The notification is a trigger email, triggered when the following changes occur; New Classes added or removed, Teacher and IS Staff Association changes, Grade level changes.

Navigate to Admin > Security > Trigger Emails

Scroll to the Students Category
The Trigger email is defaulted to disabled; select Show Disabled at the top before locating the last trigger email in this category available: To Parent: Student Information Update

Enable the Trigger Email by selecting Enabled from the Dropdown.

To edit the email, select Edit.
When Editing make sure to include the (change_summary) autopopulation or else the changes will not be listed when the email is triggered and sent.
Important Notes

The Master Agreement Compliance report will also still consider this trigger setting when identifying students who are missing an addendum.

The notification will state the student's current teacher, not a "from/to" history
- A weekly digest email will be sent to parents only if changes occurred that week.
