PLS: Adding Manual Template Classes
Add Manual Classes
Teachers>PLS/Student Roster
- Filter Options: Update the School Year Desired
- Date Range to “Entire School Year” (If doing this before the school year starts)
- Hover over the student name to see the pop-up box for that student
- Click on the link for Classes
- Set the dropdown to match the photo below.
- Registration Window will vary by grade level and semester desired.
- Full Year K-8: Use this for any K-8th Grader
- Fall Semester 9-12: Use this for 9-12 graders and Fall Class dates
- Spring Semester 9-12: Use this for 9-12 graders and Spring Class dates
- Site will vary by school. Always look for the one with a number of classes in the description.
- Click Submit. Scroll all the way down the page
- You’ll see a list of Templates appear. You can use the checkboxes and select all of the classes your student will be taking.
- K-8, you can choose all of the classes at once that the student will take for the whole school year
- 9-12, you can choose by Semester
- Example below- use the checkboxes to select all of the 1st grade classes for a student.
- Once you have made your selections, click Save Enrollments on the bottom-Right of the screen
- For students who are coming to you after the first day of school, always fill out the Enter Date with their first day of enrollment. Or else it will generate as if they were there the first day of school. You do not put anything in the Exit Date field.
- Once you click Save Enrollments, the PLS classes for the student will be created.
