# Admin: PLS Teacher Expectation Discussion Guide

This guide is designed to assist you in successfully implementing the new product while aligning with the expectations of the entire school community. We ask that you review this document with your staff prior to any staff training, this way they are aware of the expectations from the school and can focus on system training. 

1\. What is the Purpose of Using School Pathways?

2\. What documents will they be using School pathways for?

- Learning Logs
- Work Samples
- Master Agreements
- Attendance
- Report Cards
- Synchronous Instruction
- Live Interaction
- Student Portal
- Parent Portal

3\. How often will teachers archive (electronically sign or create) the following documents:(and what documents will your school be using)

- Learning Logs:  Teacher or Student Driven
- Work Samples:  Teacher or Student Driven
- Assignment Work Record Report (AWR)
- Attendance(in School Pathways attendance is suggested by the students activity but confirmed and saved by the teacher of record)
- Master Agreements: Teachers or Admin create them

4\. Who will Approve the documents once they have been archived?

- Admin
- Staff

5\. Once you know who will Approve documents once they are archived(signed), now discuss how often they will need to be archived.

- At the end of each Learning Period/Reporting Period?
- Is a work sample needed for each class in each learning/reporting period?

6\. Who will send out Welcome (trigger)emails to Students and Parents?

- Staff
- Admin
