Application & Lottery Standalone- Lottery Results
After running your lottery, this guide provides instructions for reviewing, committing, and messaging lottery results to applicants. It also details how to access the Lottery History page and monitor sent communications.

Accessing Lottery Results
Upon completing a lottery, you will be directed to the Lottery Results page. Here, you can review each lottery program's results and settings before committing them. If you need to access previous lottery details at any time, navigate to the Lottery History section.

Reviewing and Committing Results
Each lottery run will appear on the results page, with programs organized by section. Within each section:

A Settings area displays the configuration details for each lottery program, providing a visual confirmation of applied settings.

The Results section lists students, one per line, showing each student’s contact email, their "Winner" status, and any relevant Results Status (e.g., Winner, Non-Winner) explaining their selection outcome.
After verifying the results, click Commit Results to finalize. Committing the results locks in the lottery outcome, preventing further changes.
Emailing Results to Applicants
For users of the App & Lottery Standalone (not using School Pathways SIS), there is an option to Email Results to Applicants directly after committing the lottery. If you do not wish to email the results, simply skip the checkbox and click Save.
Reminder: Message will only go out if the Trigger email has been enabled. Use this guide here for enabling and editing your Trigger Emails
Once saved, your lottery results are officially committed.
Viewing Lottery History
Committed results are stored in the Lottery History tab, allowing you to view previous lotteries and their outcomes. Only the most recent lottery can be “rolled back” if necessary; lotteries committed prior to the current one cannot be rolled back.
Messaging History and Resending Results
To monitor sent communications, navigate to the Applicant History tab, where you can view a log of messages dispatched via Trigger Emails to parents and students. This log includes details such as:
- Date and time
- Recipient email address
- Lottery Name
- Message Handle (from Trigger Emails)
- Subject line (from Trigger Emails)
- Option to view the message content
If you need to resend results, go to the Lottery History page. Select the applicants to whom you wish to resend results, then click Email Results to Selected.
