Application & Lottery Standalone: Enrollment Interest Review
Enrollment Interest Review is where the applicant pool lives in various statuses. It is the starting point for reviewing applicant information and selecting the lottery pool prior to running a lottery
Navigation: App & Lottery Home Page > Enrollment Interest Review
There are MANY filters on this page, below are some key filters when identifying your lottery pool
- Application School Year: Filter by the school year you are running a lottery for. As schools gather applications year over year, this filter is crucial to weed out applications from prior years.
- Enrollment Interest Status: Statuses will be applied to students when a lottery is commited. Statuses can also be adjusted manually as needed
- Accepted: The student was a winner in the lottery and they are set to an Accepted status
- Rejected: The student is a Non-Winner of the lottery (when the Waitlist is not used). Or, a school sets this manully when an invalid application is received or a duplicate student is entered.
- Waitlist: This status is applied when a lottery is commited. Students are placed on the waitlist on the order run in the lottery.
- Pending: Up the school's discretion on how to use. Some process/review applications in the "No Status" filter and then set their status to Pending. They then use the Pending applications as their lottery pool
- No Status: default setting for applicants
- Show Extra Columns: Helpful when the school adds additional questions that they want to use when filtering students. Select the data points you want to see (shift-click works as well for all), and then use the button for "Search Enrollment Interest Applicants". These fields will be available as additional columns
Once filters are applied, click "Search Enrollment Interest Applicants"
If Importing (instead of using the Enrollment Interest Form)
Ensure all data points you intend to collect and import are included as questions on the "Configure Enrollment Interest Form" page. Every question or data point has to have a corresponding question on the Enrollment interest form.
Once complete, use the "Download Import Template" option to get a template that includes our default columns as well as any custom questions you have added.
- Click "Import Applicants"
- Click "Download Import Template"
- Ensure all data points you wish to collect and import are available as columns on the template
- Use our Public File Specs found here to see which fields are required and formatting
- Once you have a properly formatted and complete CSV, click the Choose file and click Import to import your student data.
Other Options Available on the Page:
- Adjust Gradelevels: If the imported data, or the data from the Enrollment Interest form had incorrect gradelevel data, schools can adjust the grade and save
- Adjust a status and/or add a note: Users can adjust a student's status and add a note. When ready select the student using the checkbox next to their name and click the button for "Set Status and Note"
- Update Statuses in Mass: Users can select all students and click the button for "Update Statuses". They will then be prompted to select a status being applied to all selected students.
- Download PDF: For those schools using the Enrollment Interest Form, you can mass download/individually download the PDF version of their submitted form
- This is not availble for Imported Applicants
- Copy Status Link: This can be shared with a family if they want to review/track the status of their application
