Collector Tool : Student Enrollments/Special Program Enrollments

• • Words of caution- know who is in your collection and what their “most recent” enrollments are.
  • Lots of room in this function for error

• Inter-District Transfer (IDT) using “Close most recent enrollment record and transfer students”

TIPS:

1. Know your collection- many users will grab a group of students thinking they are ok, but fail to research the enrollments. Some might have a pre-enroll, others an ADA as the most recent.  
2. Clearing Cache in Browsing history before running a collection can reduce the accidental inclusion of a student
3. Group by like action-remember that these are mass changes (same action will be performed all all students in the collection)
4. Use Add by ID- this functionality allows the users to use the local IDs to create the collection. Great for adding LIP to students.  Benefit is that it is very specific and reduces errors.
