Customizing the Master Agreement Name

To help schools better align with their specific terminology or branding, administrators can now customize the name of the Master Agreement. This custom name will be reflected in the menu navigation and page headers throughout the system.

Note: If your school utilizes the Master Agreement Templates from School Pathways and you want to update the actual contract with your new custom name, simply reach out to your School Pathways contact. This request will ensure that the contract reflects your custom name, provided you are using the MA template.

Navigating to the Master Agreement Title Setting

To begin customizing the Master Agreement name:

  1. Log in to your School Pathways admin account.
  2. Navigate to Admin > Settings > Policies.
  3. Under the PLS (Personalized Learning System) section, select Master Agreement Title.

Setting a Custom Name for the Master Agreement

Once you've navigated to the Master Agreement Title setting:

  1. Enter the custom name you prefer in the fields provided for Singular or Plural in the Master Agreement Title section.
  2. Click Save to apply the changes.

Verifying the Custom Name in the System

After saving the custom name, you can verify that the changes have been applied correctly:

  1. Check the menu navigation on the left sidebar of the School Pathways system. The new name should now appear in place of "Master Agreement."
  2. Open any page that previously referenced "Master Agreement" in its header. The custom name should be displayed there as well.

    The example is now displayed in the Compliance Report under the new custom agreement name.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

Q: The custom name isn't appearing in some areas of the system. What should I do?
A: Ensure that you've saved the changes correctly. If the issue persists, try clearing your browser cache or contact support for further assistance.

Q: Can I revert to the default name?
A: Yes, simply return to the Master Agreement Title setting and clear the custom name field, then save your changes.

Q: Can I update the title of the Master Agreement Document as well?

A: Yes, please send the request to your contact at School Pathways who can make that update for you! This only applies to schools currently using the Master Agreement Template (Admin>PLS/Report Writer>Oversight>Master Agreement Template)
