CMS Class Setup** - Set up the class and student registrations - [CMS Class Set-up](https://help.schoolpathways.com/knowledge/create-a-new-cms-class?hsLang=en) - For Curriculum - it is recommended that the **instructor** of the class add the Google Classroom curriculum. **Options when attaching Google Classroom Curriculum:** - [Option 1](https://help.schoolpathways.com/knowledge/google-classroom-setup-cms-classes#option1)**: Create a NEW Google Classroom Class from School Pathways:** - Add the Generic Google Classroom Curriculum onto the CMS class to create a NEW class in Google Classroom. - [Option 2](https://help.schoolpathways.com/knowledge/google-classroom-setup-cms-classes#option2): **Create a LINK between an already existing Google Classroom Class and the CMS Class in School Pathways** - Utilize the “Link to Existing Google Classroom '' option instead of adding the generic Google Classroom curriculum. --- ##### Option 1- Creating New Google Classroom Sections Navigate: **Teachers \> CMS-Classroom Management \> CMS- Classroom Management** - All students registered (with Google Accounts correctly linked) for the class will receive invites to the newly created Google Classroom. - Upon the next sync (nightly or manually), any grades and assignments entered in that class in Google Classroom will come over into the School Pathways gradebook.   --- ##### Option 2- Create a LINK between an already existing Google Classroom Class and the CMS Class in School Pathways Navigate: **Teachers \> CMS-Classroom Management \> CMS- Classroom Management** The Primary Instructor of the CMS (SP Class) and the teacher of the Google Classroom Class must be the one to perform these steps - **The CMS (School Pathways) class will now be linked with the already existing Google Classroom class. Upon the next sync (Nightly or Manually), the grades and assignments will come over into the School Pathways Gradebook.** - Students in the existing google class must be using their school issued gmail. If not, the students will not link properly.
