Google Classroom: Student Account Linking (Manual Process) - PLS Standalone
If Students need to Manually Link their Google account this guide will help them to navigate through the steps needed to complete the process. This means each student is logging in and connecting their google account themselves.
For Mass Linking that is setup with a policy, you do not need to follow this process.
For Manual Google Account Linking, follow directions below:
Students will log into the School Pathways Student Portal (not the Household portal)
using their username and password Log in as Normal
Click Settings on the top-right corner of the portal screen
Click Sign in with Google
Select the appropriate school-issued student email account
Status will now say “Currently Linked Google Account:” and will list the gmail account that is linked.
Subsequent logins, you can now use the “Sign in with Google” on the login page.
No need to enter the username or password any longer.
Note: When logging out after being logged in with Google Sign-on, you will receive this message.
Choosing “Yes” will log you out of your Google Account on the browser. This is best used for public computers or shared devices.
