Staff: Staff Setup Alert for New Students
We have the capability to send a trigger email to staff when a new student gets assigned to them.

Setup
Navigation: Admin > Settings > Trigger Emails
Trigger Emails have been added to send a notification to staff member when they have been assigned to a student (both as the IS Staff and as a Support Staff)
Schools must enable the Trigger email to see the option when adding a staff to a student. Customizing the message body is optional.

- There is one for the IS Staff Association "New Student Association"
- There is one for Support Staff "New Student Support Staff Association"
Using the Notifications- IS Staff Association
Navigation: Student Dashboard > IS Staff Association
- Click "Add New Assignment"
- Choose the Staff name from the dropdown and check the box for "Notify staff of incoming student"
- Upon save, the staff member will be notified via work email
If the staff member did not receive the email, have them check spam/clutter. Also verify that a Work Email is in their staff record within that school.
Using the Notifications- Support Staff
Navigation: Student Dashboard > Support Staff > Add Support Staff
- Choose a support staff name from the dropdown
- Enter a start date
- Check the box for "Notify staff of incoming student
- Upon save, the staff member will be notified via email.
