      Bridge Overview: School Pathways

      Two-Way Integrations and Export bridges to other vendors

      School Pathways Bridging: In School Pathways, there are two types of bridges: Two-Way Integrations and Exports. These bridges facilitate the exchange of information between School Pathways and other systems.

      Two-Way Integrations: Two-way integrations refer to the exchange of rostering/class section information between School Pathways and a Learning Management System (LMS). In this process, School Pathways receives assignment grade information on a nightly basis. We offer a range of two-way integrations to facilitate this data exchange.

      Exports: Typically, School Pathways sends flat files of data to other vendors. However, there are a few exceptions where we also receive data from those vendors.

      API Resources:

      REST API:

      • Provides the following capabilities: creates new records from externally derived data; reads operations on a row-by-row basis, including range matches and partial searches; and updates or deletes existing records in the School Pathways databases.  Business rules that may be embedded in STORM will apply to REST API. These rules can be customized but are not directly accessible or modifiable.  While every effort is made to provide read/write access to a school’s data, some tables are "code tables" necessary for operation of the system, and write access may be limited as appropriate.  Where possible, the School Pathways databases are normalized to the 5th Normal form (5NF) and use surrogate (non-natural) key

       

       Two-Way Integrations:

      Apex Learning two-way Curriculum Bridge:

      • Near real-time synchronous integration with Apex Learning to send and receive course assignment, user account provisioning, single sign on, enrollment updates, import of student result data including time on task attendance, assignments and grades, and student portal access data.  Allows for periodic batch updates to Apex

      • Works with CMS or PLS Classes

      Agilix BUZZ Bridge / BUZZ Connect two-way bridge:     

      • A software product developed by School Pathways that permits near real-time integration between SIS and Agilix BUZZ.  Teachers can create courses or adjust vendor courses in Agilix BUZZ.  Using BUZZ Connect, school representatives can enroll students into Agilix BUZZ courses through SIS and obtain seamless tracking of course completion, grades received, and credits earned.  (BUZZ Connect licensees must have a direct license for Agilix BUZZ, either through School Pathways, Agilix or another Agilix reseller.)

      • This Bridge doesn't offer mid year implementation, therefore we will need to start at the beginning of the school year. 
      • Works best with CMS

      Canvas Two-Way Bridge:

      • 2 way Integration: A software tool that automatically imports and exports courses, sections, enrollments and users to Canvas on a daily basis. A link is provided to Canvas on the Staff Dashboard and the Student Portal.

      • Works with PLS or CMS Classes

      Edgenuity two-way Bridge:

      • A software product that converts class registrations, attendance and progress data tracked for a given school by Edgenuity, Inc. into a format compatible with SIS and then loads that data into SIS for use by the school.  The Edgenuity Bridge consists of four separate bridges:  (1) the Class Registration Bridge (Fall1); (2) the Courses Bridge (Fall2); (3) the Attendance Bridge; and (4) the Assignments Bridge.

      • Only works with PLS Classes in School Pathways

      Edmentum Two-Way Bridge:

      • The two-way integration between the SIS and Edmentum allows for nightly and real-time data synchronization. This integration enables the transfer of Staff, Students, Classes, and Registrations from the SIS to Edmentum. Additionally, it allows for the receipt of Curricula, Assignments, Grades, and Time on Task data from Edmentum into the SIS. This seamless integration ensures that both systems stay up-to-date with the latest information, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in managing educational data.
      • Works with both CMS and PLS classes

      Google Classroom two-way Bridge:

      • 2 way bridge that sends student, class, instructor level data to Google Classroom. Receives Assignment and Grade data from Google Classroom

      • Includes Google SSO
      • Works best with CMS Classes

      Zoom

      • School Pathways offers a two-way Zoom bridge.  This bridge works in coordination with our Engagement Calendar to streamline the tracking of Synchronous Instruction. As staff create a Synchronous Event on the Engagement Calendar and attach a Zoom meeting, the bridge will create that meeting in Zoom and invite the students to that Zoom meeting.  Reducing the amount of double entry.  Nightly the bridge will run and record any participation and time onto the Synchronous event. This data will flow to the PLS Roster- Activity Monitor as well as the Engagement Logs.
      • Works with our Engagement Calendar exclusively (does not get attached to classes)

       

       Exports: 

      Abre Export Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, staff, class, attendance and grade information to Abre.

      ACRM Bridge:

      • ACRM Export Bridge:  A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student demographics, parent demographics, and staff associations to Academic CRM.

      ADM Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student and parent information to Active Data Management Inc (ADM).

      Aperture Bridge:

      • A software tool that automatically exports current student, class, and teacher data to Aperture Education on a nightly basis.

      Apple School Manager Bridge:

      • The Apple School Manager Export Bridge is a premium add-on that exports student, staff, course, and class/registration data to Apple School Manager.

      Apptegy Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, parent, and staff contact information to Apptegy.

      Atriuum Book Systems Export Bridge:  (Library Management System)

      • Export of basic student information from SIS to Atriuum using a downloader tool to pull files to a dedicated computer hosted by the  School. 

      Blackboard Connect Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student demographic data to Blackboard Connects.

      Brightspace Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, staff, and student to staff period data to the Brightspace system. 

      Beehively Export Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, parent, and staff data to Beehively.

      Canvas Bridge (1 way Export):

      • 1 Way Export: A software tool that automatically exports courses, sections, enrollments and users to Canvas on a daily basis. A link is provided to Canvas on the Staff Dashboard and the Student Portal.

      CAP60 Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, parent, and enrollment data to CAP60. 

      CatapultEMS / Catapult Connect Export Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, staff, and student to staff period data to Catapult.

      CCGI Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of staff, and course data to CCGI (California College Guidance Initiative). It excludes students who have requested to opt out of sharing their information with higher education systems on their release form

      Classlink Bridge:

      •  A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, staff, course, and class data to ClassLink

      Clever Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student demographic data to Cleve

      Compass Learning Path Blazer (K-6) Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student demographics and account information to CompassLearning

      Data Design Bridge:

      •  A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, staff, parent, class, attendance, and grade information to Data+ Design. Data+Design is a software platform that gathers data from divergent sources and puts them into tailored, graphic Dashboards. 

      Discovery Education Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, teacher, and class information to Discovery Education.

      Edgenuity My Path (7-12) Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student information to Edgenuity to set up account information

      Educlimber Export Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student information and demographics, teacher rosters/classes, an optional assigned staff relation, current class grades, daily attendance, and test score data.

      Edulink Export Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student and parent data to Edulink.

      Ellevation Bridge: 

      •  A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student and teacher information to Ellevation. 
      • Includes the Learning Center name to "Alternate School" (if the site type is scope only).
      • Includes the "Homeroom Teacher" (teacher of record) name column.
      • Includes a policy to include additional columns for support staff based on title.
      • Includes the “Account Type” field to pull position titles from Job Classifications.
      • The "Special Education" field will display the full description instead of the CALPADS code.

      EPS Export Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, class, transcript, and attendance to EPS (Education Passport System).

      Fastbridge Export Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, teacher, and class information to FastBridge.

      Finalsite Messages XR Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of staff, student and parent data to Finalsite Messages XR.

      Finalsite Mass Notifications Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, parent, staff, attendance, class, course, term, and grade information to Finalsite Mass Notifications.

      Follett Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an export of student information Follett either using an automated system or using a downloader tool on a dedicated computer hosted by the School.

      Forecast5 Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, enrollment, staff, attendance, course and attendance information to Forecast5 Analytics.

      GG4L Export:  Global Grid 4 Learning (GG4L)

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, teacher, parent, class, and enrollment information to GG4L (Global Grid 4 Learning)

      Global Data Bridge:

      • A software tool that automatically exports current student and parent data to My Global Data on a daily basis.

      Google Direct Bridge:

      • Provides a standard file set which can be used to manually manage student Gmail accounts within Google. Includes Google OAuth SSO

      Google OAuth SSO

      • Allows logging into SIS using a Google account through a "Sign in with Google" button from the login page.   Google accounts are linked under the “Account Settings” page in the SIS, or “Settings” in the Portal, and can be used to authenticate instead of a SIS password.  Adds School Policies (under “Google Account”) to optionally restrict which domains can be used to link accounts per type of user.  

      Hayes Software System Bridge:

      • A software tool that automatically exports student, teacher, and staff data  to Hayes Software System on a daily basis.

      IlluminateEd Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, staff, course, class and enrollment information to Illuminate

      Incident IQ Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, parent, staff, course, class information to Incident IQ.

      iO Education Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student demographic, enrollments, parent demographics, classes/courses, including staff and school period/calendar information to IO Education

      iReady Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, teacher, and class information to i-Ready and an import of test score data into the SIS.

      K12 Bridge:

      •  A software product that converts student enrollment, attendance and progress data tracked for a given school by K12 Management, Inc. (K12) into a format compatible with SIS and then loads that data into SIS for use by the school.  The K12 Bridge consists of four separate bridges:  (1) the Enrollment and Class Registration Bridge (Fall1); (2) the Courses Bridge (Fall2); (3) the Attendance Bridge; and (4) the Assignments Bridge. . 

      Kelvin Pulse Export Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, parent, staff, class, and enrollment information to Kelvin. 

      Mealtime Bridge:

      • Export of basic student information using a downloader tool to pull the files to a dedicated computer hosted by the School intended to be used by the MealTime mPower software

      Medical Billing Technologies Export Bridge(MBT):

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student demographics to MBT (Medical Billing Technologies).

      MiSiS Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student data (including demographics, attendance, EL, and Discipline) to Los Angeles Unified School District’s MiSiS on a daily basis.

      National Student Clearinghouse Bridge:

      • A manual export tool that permits schools to transmit student demographic information (with a focus on graduating students) to National Student Clearinghouse.

      Naviance Bridge: 

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student and parent demographics and contact information to Naviance.

      NWEA Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, teacher, and class information to NWEA and an import of test score data into the SIS.

      One Call Now Bridge:

      •  A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, parent, and staff demographic information to OneCallNow.

      OPS Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student enrollment, staff employment, and class registration to the OPS Online ordering system.  It also allows for cross-checking of student class enrollments with OPS records to identify anomalies, permits viewing and verification of setup and configuration status of OPS exports, and, when properly configured, checks student budgets when class enrollments are being entered.. 

      Panorama Bridge: 

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, teacher, and class information to Panorama.

      Panorama Student Success Export Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, parent, teacher, class, grade, report card, discipline incident, and attendance information to Student Success.

      ParentSquare Bridge:

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, parent, staff, class, grade, and attendance information to ParentSquare.

      Parsec Bridge:  

      • A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, parent, staff, class, transcript, and attendance information to Parsec.

      Pearson EasyBridge:

      •  A software tool that provides an automatic daily export of student, class, and staff information to Pearson.  Link to Pearson sign-in page available on the SIS staff dashboard and student portal
